Use a custom domain for Short Links

Add the hostname

Open Short Links Settings and add the hostname you want to use, such as go.example.com. Yabrix creates the server Custom Hostname and shows the CNAME record required from your DNS provider.

Publish the CNAME record

Create the displayed CNAME record exactly as shown in the domain instructions. The status row separately reports the customer DNS CNAME, the Yabrix server hostname and the certificate. A domain is ready only when all three are active.

Wait for the certificate

DNS propagation and certificate provisioning can take time. Use the refresh action in Settings to check the current state. New domains use HTTP certificate validation, so no additional ownership TXT record is required.

Set the default domain

Select the star next to an active custom domain to make it the default for new links. Remove the default selection to return to ybrx.li. Existing links keep their own domain until you change or delete them.

Remove a domain carefully

Deleting a custom domain removes its Custom Hostname, disables links using that domain and removes it from future selections. Update or replace distributed links before deleting the domain.
