Google Analytics history and cookieless measurement
Use GA4 for the historical period before Yabrix registration and Yabrix for ongoing privacy-friendly measurement.
Use each source for its intended period
Google Analytics is a complementary historical source. Its Yabrix report ends on the date the site was registered in Yabrix, letting you review earlier GA4 sessions, page views, users, countries, entry sources and top pages without mixing them into current Yabrix reporting.
Use Yabrix after registration
From the registration date onward, use Yabrix Analytics, Real Time and Engagement as the primary reports for the property. Yabrix supports privacy-friendly measurement without requiring cookies when consent is unknown or denied, while using an optional persistent identifier only when consent is granted.
Do not compare totals as if they were identical
GA4 and Yabrix use different collection, processing and privacy models, so totals can differ even over a similar period. Compare trends and business context rather than expecting a one-to-one match between sessions, users or page views.
Build a continuous story
Use the GA4 history to understand the baseline before onboarding, then use Yabrix to monitor the change after installation. This makes it possible to retain useful historical context while moving ongoing measurement to a privacy-friendly, cookieless-capable workflow.
