Traffic KPIs and comparisons

Read volume and both bounce-rate definitions together, then use the chart to investigate changes across a reporting period.

Separate volume from quality

Total pageviews, Total sessions and Unique visitors describe volume. Both Classic bounce rate and Non-engaged bounce rate, together with Avg. session, Pages per visit and Avg. scroll depth, provide quality context.

Choose the relevant bounce definition

Classic bounce identifies sessions with a single pageview. Non-engaged bounce is designed for articles, news and other content pages: a session is not a bounce when it has at least two pageviews, at least 10 seconds of activity, at least 25% scroll plus 5 seconds of activity, or the visitor performs an important action such as using a main call-to-action.

Read IAB consent rate in context

Consent rate (IAB) is the share of traffic granting the required analytics purposes through an IAB TCF-compatible consent platform. Review it alongside traffic changes before comparing periods with different consent conditions.

Use the primary trend

The main chart shows traffic by day for multi-day ranges, or by hour for the latest 24 hours. Select a quality KPI to view its daily trend instead of pageviews and sessions.

Understand estimates for today

When comparing a single current day, Yabrix can show an estimated end-of-day value based on elapsed activity. Treat it as a directional forecast, not a completed total, especially early in the day.
